Just cut my cold process bars and they are lighter in color on the inside. The lighter color is a square inside the bars. I did an oxide colorant swirl and added colloidal oatmeal. What caused the color change?

Partial gel phase maybe? I thought partial gel usually made bars darker on the inside. I've made a cold process oatmeal soap colored with a tiny bit of cinnamon that went through partial gel & was kind of pinkish on the inside until it finished curing. The inside is still slightly darker.

When I cut my lav/patch bars which are colored with alkanet and activated charcoal, the inside is tan and black, but as it cures, the purple-gray returns.

Thanks for the replies and hopeful the color will even out over the curing time.
