I thought that this might interest other Aussi soapers.
I have already mentioned it to Tanya/ TC and she has added some usefull ideas.
I have decided that I will do my little bit to help the fire victims by getting together a few care packages. They will be placed in one post office cardboard box and addressed to maybe a hospital in the area, a local council down in Victoria or maybe just a post office. To be given out to poeple that are left with nothing.
It isn't a big deal. We could only help a few, but that's enough.
I thought that some soaps of course. I will buy some cheap face clothes and tooth brushes. Chocolate to eat. Note book and pen.
Tanya suggested an old paperback book. Hankies. Maybe childrens books.
Does anybody else have suggestions. Only Aussis could do this I think because of the postage costs.
I recently sent off a box very full of soaps in one of their 30 x 30 x 50 cm boxes (guessing measurements. That cost $17.00 to Sydny. So I have decided that is what I will fill and post.
Oh yes I am thinking that a little hand written note to say we are thinking of them.
It would be a little hope package. Do you remember doing them at school as tinies, for the Red Cross
