Has anyone else ever noticed that you can run the exact recipe thru soap calc at different times and get soap quality numbers that are 1%-2% off each time? I don't understand. :?: :!:

i use it quite often, but i haven't noticed any change. are you sure you put in exactly the same ingredient amounts?
i will pay closer attention and if there is a difference, i'll post it here.
i would venture to guess that 1-2% difference wouldn't change things to any considerable degree.

I used SoapCalc yesterday and read a message that had been posted there.
It basically said that users had notified of a fault in soapcalc and that itwasn't working properly, then the owners checked it and it was working fine.
I think in the end they blamed updates or something??? but I am sure the message is still there, I will check.
