Hi from the beautiful Suffolk, UK countryside.
Just tried my very first batch of soap, yippeeeeeee but it feels a little drying after you have dried your hands.
I did not over do it with the coconut oil (read about that used around 15%) of total recipe.
Used essential, oils 2 tsp.
Any suggestions. Really want to get this right, Helppppppppp:
 
Might want to list the ingredients and the amount for each. It might give a better picture.
 
Assuming you are doing everything correctly, you could just have sensitive skin like mine. I like using cream in my soaps. My fave soap also has charcoal and kaolin in it. The combo seems to really leave my skin feeling moisturized, whereas other recipes that other people enjoyed ended up leaving me feel dried out.
