Slate??

[purely soaps]

I am trying to copy the scent of Bath and Body s Slate scent in a men's soap. My son just loves it and my attempts so far have failed in his opinion
Can someone help me out as to what fragrance oil (and I m convinced it's fragrance) and what company comes the closest ? I am willing to go out on a limb for him.

I did find that one but am not familiar with candle scents. I just use the soap scents. Are they interchangeable?

When I first viewed it I saw below the SKU it said "soap friendly "

SKU: US-436Categories: Aromas, By Type, Candle and Soap Fragrances, Earthy, Fall, Seasons, Soap Friendly, Ultimate and Bold, WinterTags: For Paraffin & Natural Waxes, Phthalates Free, Skin Safe

But it does not hurt to review the product over with them before purchasing it.

You'd need to look at the IFRA to make sure. As far as I know, all FOs that can be used in soap can be used for candles, but not all that can be used in candles are skin safe. It's category 9 that tells what the skin-safe usage rate for soap is. The one linked looks to be tagged skin safe but in my quick glance I didn't see links to the IFRA documents, maybe you can contact them to ask for it.
