hi everyone , with single bar cutters, does the soap slide across better with stainless steel or hdpe?

Just my opinion but I would go with the HDPE. This is the one I have and I love it. Havent used a different one so nothing to compare it to but it works like a charm. Here is the link.

I am partial to stainless bc it is often lighter-weight, but I do think that HDPE has a bit more slide to it.

I have a stainless cutter and the soap slides ok but tends to stick to the deck and leaves soap streaks.
I don't slide the loaf anymore, I pick it up and move it
