I wasn't sure where to post this but I guess since it has to do with cp here will do I hope.
Can I put my soaping dishes in the dishwasher or will it cause too many bubbles?

Um...I usually just set mine in the sink with water in them. After all the soap is melted into the water, down the drain & then washed by hand...only because my dishwasher crapped out during Hurricane Ike.

yeah I was hoping for a simpler way to was the dishes lol, i've never used a dishwasher and thought it may explode with bubbles lol

mine did when my youngest son was "helping" & loaded the dishwasher with the dishes & put Lemon Joy in the soap cup. I has about 2 ft of bubbles all over the kitchen & it took me about 3 hours to get it all rinsed out of the dishwasher.

oh lordy lordy don't do it unless you want a Mt. Vesuvius of lather streaming out of your dishwasher. Well your floor will get cleaned at least.

Seriously - if you get pretty much all the soap out of your bowls you can run them through the dishwasher. And your utensils. But leave more than a bit on them and you will have problems.

Also, if there is much soap (or any powdered colorants were used) you will be left with a residue on anything plastic in there (and if you used green oxide the inside of your dishwasher will look like the inside of an alien instead of the inside of a dishwasher.)

lol i'm so glad I asked, with the goat getting into my soap and blowing bubbles I don't want to be spending 3 hours cleaning up after the dishwasher hehe, thanks to you all for warning me before I got bubbled out of house and home lol

I find that just dumping everythingina sink of really hot water and leaving them will do the work for you. I only ever have to add soap if I have a lot of oils left over, then I need the dish soap to break down the oily residue.

LOL yes Simply E she sure did get into the soap and gave it a good hard makeover too bite size chunks everywhere, but then this is also the same bottle baby that I found dancing around on my computer keyboard a couple of nights back lol.

er, um...

I've made SO many foolish mistake that this one barely counts LOL
