Hi all! So like the title says, I have a question about silk. Not tussa silk, or whole(?) silk fibers, but the powder like this one: http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.ca/silk-amino-acids-p-555.html

I've been all over the internet and forums for info on how to use this in cold process soap. There's tons of info on how to use tussa silk in cp soap, and for that I am grateful! :) I found one person who left a review on the ND website for the (200 mesh) silk powder - They said they used 1/4 tsp for a 2 pound batch.

Does this sound correct to anybody here? OR does anyone have any experience with this, or similar products? I would be eternally grateful for any info!

THANK YOU ALL!!! :grin::grin::grin:

I've never used it but if I did, I would fully dissolve it in lye water just like other silk types. 1/4 tsp for 2 lb sounds like enough but I would be tempted to use 1/2 tsp.
