I know a lot of people use silicone pieces to line their wooden molds, or use the big silicone loaf-cake type molds.. but has anyone had success with any of the shaped silicone molds?

For example :

I ended up with a bunch of these when my friend moved into a smaller apartment and I wanted to experiment with those little rose shaped ones! Sooo I just wanted any opinions anyone has about it :) Thanks

I only have silicon baking and ice trays as molds, they work really well, but I am only new to soaping. I really like the heart shaped ice cube trays I have, the soap that comes out is pretty cute.

I have a silicone loaf pan with the ridges in the bottom but when I cut the soap I flip the soap so the ridges are on the tops of my cut bars. It's a nice effect.

Yep, they work great. Some of the darker silicon may discolor soap because of the pigments used to color the silicon.

I pick up seasonal silicon cupcake/muffin molds at Walmart, Target, Kmart.

Every other week Hobby Lobby has a 40% off one item coupon, online. I have used this to purchase the Wilton silicone muffin pans from our local Hobby Lobby.

i got a couple mini silicone loaf pans at the dollar store, i also have a snowflake one and a christmas tree one...i love them. the soap pops right out

I use a big bundt one for soap cakes..like soapbuddy said, some of them you need a cookie sheet under for support...definately the big bundt cake.

LOVE the Canadian Tire link!

I picked up the Wilton red snowflake one and was really happy with it. I have since purchased a few other designs! Really fun to experiment with!
