on Thursday I stopped in at the post to ship out some packages and the mailman told me that soon the rate will once again be going up and that it is really going to effect priority mail :cry:

It doesn't surprise me. Higher gas prices are going to affect all forms of shipping and transportation costs.

One of the sites I buy off here, said her postage costs are going up 3 x the price for international mail :shock: .

That will affect me big time. I recived my Christmas load of priority boxes about a month ago and laughed at the workers at the post office telling them I have more of those boxes than they do. If the price does go up I hope it is small so I don't have to adjust my shipping rates online, that is a bit of work. I do know someone with a management job in the post office, I will try to check with them on this increase.
