I'm a tad hesitant to try Shea butter. The only expeience I have with it is from a company called "sheaterra organics". Anyone heard of them? Anyways, I bought it mainly as a hair product a few years ago. I don't know what it is but it is very, very solid. So much so that it's useless to me as a body moisturizer. Is it just the brand or us Shea butter always that hard?

ShearDelight: I have not heard of sheaterra organics, but I do use shea butter and it has always been solid but creamy not hard; kind of like a thick butter.

The shea butter I get from WSP isn't hard at all, hmmm, I add it into my goat's milk and honey lotion all the time.
Maybe you got a bad or mislabeled batch.

Hmm maybe I did because there was never anything creamy about it! lol Maybe I'll take a chance on some from FNWL...
