Since I'm known on this forum to be an advocate for making lye-based shampoo bars & liquid shampoo, I feel the need to 'fess up... :D

TRUE CONFESSION
When making up a Gift Set for babies & toddlers, I use this syn/det product. (I like it so much, I sometimes use it meself. I really like the no-tear aspect and it's gentle on my delicate skin, thinning hair & sensitive scalp. Think J & J Baby Shampoo)

Essentials by Catalina – TEAR FREE SHAMPOO BASE
Ingredients: Deionized Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Disodium Lauroamphodiacetate, PEG-150 Distearate, Sodium Laureth-13 Carboxylate, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Citric Acid, Quaternium-15, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin

If you're looking for something to add to your line, that nobody else is selling; is less expensive than making it yourself, and a great product to boot, this is it! NOT just for babies! It is liked by seniors or anyone with sensitive, mature skin, thinning hair, etc.

A gallon ($30) fills 16 bottles (8 oz) @ $1.90
You can buy the base scented (FO or EO) or unscented.
Catalina sells a natural Boston Round plastic container that's perfect for shower use.
Order a 4 oz. sample for $2.25

Whew! So glad I got that off my chest, @cmzaza! :)

@Zany_in_CO - My true confession is: Even though I make my own soap, I still buy other people's soap - just to see if I like it better/as well as what I am making! I'm also FOHO!

I buy other people's soap. Especially if at a Farmer's market or the like, and I can talk to the maker! I don't have to have a long conversation, just time to admire a scent or such. I find it refreshes me for making more soap to try someone else's and speak to them.
