shampoo bar

Have spent several days now searching for a decent recipie for making my own shampoo bar. And havent found much. I dont want any palm in it at all
I do have some wheat germ oil for it. Can any one help or at least point me in the right direction?? :? Thanks ever so much Diane

Try a google search on "shampoo bar recipe" and you will come up with several. To get you started, there is one about half way down the page: http://www.sudsandscents.com/june2003news.htm

Everyone is different, so you have to fiddle with it to find what works for you. Some people use their regular cp/hp just fine.

I've never found a soap/shampoo bar that my hair loved. I have had a little success with syndet bars. (Jut a little success)

thank you . This gives me a starting point to work with. Right now I am using 100% glycerine bars and love the results. My hair is baby fine and soft to start with but seems to be even softer now, and omg the body it has now is just amazing.Seems to tangle less too. Since I am making soap for my own use now full time, thought a bar for hair would be nice then would have no chemicals left in the house to make me itch :} Made my first batch of rtcp soap this last week and cant believe how much faster it was. The bar is just barely off white, It had a fine dusting of ash on it so next time will cover with plastic wrap. Hugs and love to all. havent found one I want to try and make yet,but have used my own goats milk soap on my hair and so far it comes out like it does with the glycerin bar. Now if I could just find a way to tame the static down abit I would be a happy camper. Although I have yet worked up the courage to tell the girl that cuts my hair or take it in with me to have her use it on me. I guess thats my next step in my journey :roll:
