Hi from the sunny (and not cooling down at all) Southern Texas!
Not a Texas Gal really, moved down to the South after too many years of snow in Buffalo NY!
Originally from Germany I am currently a Dementia Activity Specialist and a Certified Dementia Practitioner and working on my Certification to become an Activity Director ... it was my Activity job that got me into essential oils (in combination with sugar scrubs for an Alz Walk Fundraiser) and went to body butters to melt and pour soaps - that was two years ago.
Last year I finally got over my fear of lye and made my first batch of hot process soap and wow! Never went back to body washsbor shampoos. I think I have ten bars of soaps I use simultaneously and ever since I started using my own soaps my skin got so mych better! Truly addicted! I did try a batch of CP soap and it’s rather pretty, but I somehow prefer HP soap. Maybe because I soap to relax after a stressful week and don’t think too much about intricate designs I would hate to destroy while using the soap
Soaping truly is the balance I needed between family and work!
