Does anyone here make big logs of melt and pour to craft shows to cut them when a customer orders them like Lush does? Just wondering if it would be a good idea with melt and pour logs. Thanks

I don't do this personally, but at the local farmer's market there is someone. She has the really pretty glycerin logs like Primal Elements. They are bright and fun. Her booth looks great. I don't know the price, I always just glace as I go by, she is pretty busy. It is at least $1 an oz though. Our farmer's market runs every Saturday for 4 1/2 months. It must do fine in the heat, since we can have some brutal days in the summer. She has been there for years.

Does she have her soap log covered in saran wrap or something? My melt and pour seems to be more "sticky" than other soaps so I would think that it would attract dust and other things.

Also, are you talking about the Tuacahn one it's either in St. George? I've heard of that show here in Vegas, just wondering if it's the same one.

I don't remember if she has it covered. If yours is slick I would try a few different types of m&p. The ingredients vary a lot from manufacturer to manufacturer. You can get some that have actually been saponified. Some that contain SLSs, some are all natural, huge differences!

This is the market in Downtown Salt Lake. There is here, one GM person and one regular CP person.
