This is my second batch I made yesterday. Any advice is welcome. Is there something wrong with it?

Soda ash is more like a thin white film. I like @Obsidian 's guide to cutting using cheese metaphors. Cut it when it feels like cheddar. Even tho' you may have cut a little soon, it is really very, very nice.I just don’t know what that texture issue thing is, ash? Or did I cut it too soon?
I found a Wilton mold and used melt and pour for the succulents. I’ve been watching it I’ve videos for 6 months!Soda ash is more like a thin white film. Really?? Just your 2nd batch? How did you make the top?
Thank you, I’ve started including sodium lactate on every batch now. I did my fourth batch today but I’m not unmolding for at least 24 hours. How long is too long?Very nice job. You can use salt, Sodium Lactate and few other things to help your soap harden up quicker and preventing your problem. It does not cut down on your curing time, just helps the soap harden enough to make clean cuts.
Honestly that's a difficult question but if you unmold it and you can't cut through it or it crumbles, it was too long. It should feel like a bar of cheddar cheese when you push on it with your finger. If it gives more than that wait another 12 - 24 hours.Thank you, I’ve started including sodium lactate on every batch now. I did my fourth batch today but I’m not unmolding for at least 24 hours.
