Does anyone have experience with using sea kelp in their lotion products? like to use a “niche” ingredient that is unique and actually has some tangible benefits. I live on the coast in the northeast and thought this might be a nice addition. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of information on it which makes me wonder if any benefits are negligible. I have been using 1.5% to 2.5% of sea kelp bioferment an additional Humectant added to the water phase of lotions. It’s expensive.
