Can you put liquid scents in CP soaps?

Yes (that's actually the only kind we use), but they must be rated skin-safe, and they need to be compatable with use in CP soap (not all scents are). I hope that by 'liquid scents' you didn't mean already manufactured colognes or perfumes or something like that, because those would not be good with CP even though they are skin-safe. The kind we use in our soaps are highly concentrated fragrance oils.

I personally wouldn't trust the scents from Hobby Lobby unless you know beyond a verifiable doubt that they are specifically rated skin safe and compatable with CP.

Besides Brambleberry, Candlescience, and Nature's Garden, which are excellent and reliable sources, here are a handful of other reliable and excellent online vendors to add to your list:

http://sweetcakes.com/

Several of them have candy-like scents

I don't really know what you mean by "ingredient scents"...but I can say DON'T buy your soap fragrances at Hobby Lobby...colors either for that matter.
