i used sandelwood powder and sandelwood fo from the soap dish. smells VERY nice and though the powder was a redish brown it soaped to a med brown. this is approx 24 post soap.

I think that swirl is perfect for sandalwood soap.

It looks like the swirls of a tree or wood grain and I mean that as a compliment!

Is that what you were going for?
 
i like the close rings....i was going for that....thanks so much! i got the sandalwood powder at organic-creations.com they have a great selection and decent prices too,

I was thinking the exact same thing. Nice job, Deb! How'd you get the circles off to one side like that?
 
That is an impresssive funnel swirl. Nice job! I love the colour. So the sandalwood powder imparts a decently strong scent to the soap? How long does it last?
