These are colored with botanicals, or from FO and/or EO discoloration.

Wow, those are beautiful! Such a nice display! Salt soap and sugar soap are on my to do list.

Wow all those lovely colors from botanicals??! You did a great job on all of them! They all look so perfect :D

nice colors ... what did you use ? so far i have only used what is in my cupboard . tumeric , cocoa powder , and paprika. that is all i have so far

Love these! Just made my first salt bars last night. They are to die for!!! I used the brambleberry recipe with the himalayan pink salt bar with the eucalyptus and lemongrass. I cant wait to try them. Yours look so good!

thanks for the nice words!

In reading about "salt soap," are they scratchy? Is there a benefit, other than exfoliation?

They do not get gooey and they last a long time. When my skin gets scratched up I seem to heal faster if I use the salties. With a good cure they have great lather. They get you super clean.

Infused alkanet, annatto, paprika, beta carotene from yellow CO, indigo diluted in the water (or coconut water) before the lye. I get different shades and tonalities using different amounts of the colorants.

Some salt interferes with some colorants if it is rich in iodine. In any case this i my observation, I started from mediterranean salt, switched to Pacific ocean salt, and the blues are weaker.

the day you find a beveler like you've used (and knows how to use) and then soaps like these ... I cry!... but worse: if I meet so many technical ... I'm dying!

GreenSoap- Just wonder (if you don't mind answering) where you got your molds. I used a hug 6ounce square for mine and its going to be way too big.
Thanks, Barb

Did you use individual molds or a loaf? These are awesome in color!
