Sage

I was at a craft show yesterday and had a booth right next to a PartyLite vendor (new show, guess they haven't figured out the spacing etiquette yet) So I went over and smelled all her scents just to see what they had.
They have a scent called "Herbs de Provence" that smells just like sage. I mean like the real stuff right off the bush. I have been trying to find an FO that smells like that forever and have been unsuccessful. It's a new scent so I doubt there's a dupe out for it yet, but figured I'd check here for any Sage recommendations from you all.

I have a 1oz sample of it. It does smell nice, but nothing like sage to me...too perfumy. Just want a plain, outdoorsy, right off the bush scent of sage.

I have a lot of FO's that smell totally off oob, but often turn out just fine in my products.

What about clary sage eo...is that at all close to what you want? Maybe a blend of the two. Just wondering if you have come up with anything yet...

Clary sage EO is totally lovely, but doesn't smell to me at all like sage straight off the bush. I've been trying to find a real sage scent too, will have to try NG's variety. Anyone tried Dalmation sage EO?
