Safe FO's for a newbie

I think I'm going to attempt my first batch in December,since I'm getting supplies for X-mas. After I make a few plain batches of both CP and HP,to see which I like best, I want to play with dessert-smelling FO's. What are some good ones from Brambleberry and Southern Soapers that you have experienced low chances of seizing and other issues a newbie would have trouble with?

I do mind discoloration,too. Sometimes it works with the scent,but a brown pink sugar scented bar sounds terrible. =P

Cake,pie,candy scents are what I'd like to play with first.

So what shall I add to my wishlist,hm?

I don't have any dessert FO's from Brambleberry, but I have a 2 from Southern Soapers that I really like: Creamy Orange Sherbet and Macapuno Sorbet. The Creamy Orange Sherbet doesn't discolor for me, but the Macapuno Sorbet discolors to a light medium tan (that's with TD added to it @ .75 tsp ppo). They both soap very nice for me without seizing.

If you are going to order from Southern Soapers, you'll need to get your order in quick because they are going out of business soon. I'm going to miss them very much. :cry:

all fos are "safe" if you are doing hp( if you buy body safe fos), and you use 1/2 the amt! Try peak candle.com, or natures garden, less $ than brambleberry. You can get 10- 1ouncers for 20$ at both places and you can order as many of the same fo, like if you want 2 or 3 to make cp.

I love Brambleberry! Dark Rich Chocolate, Chipotle Caramel and Clementine Cupcake all smell fantastic. The Dark Rich Chocolate discolors to a brown color and Chipotle Caramel is a light brown. I haven't used the Clementine Cupcake yet. Still waiting for more carrier oils to come next week. Nature's Garden has a great smelling orange, cherry and pineapple. Stay away from the World's Best Coffee, yuck!

Sorry for the highjack . I know that Nature's Garden automatically does this to your order. Does Peak Candle Supplies do this as well? I have 10 FO added to my cart and it won't give a discount.

you have to order it under the sample pack, with peak you have to type in the names of the ones you want, cant remember what ng does.
