Where can I get a rum scent for melt and pour? I want to mix it with others but cant find a run scent on its own.
If there isnt one, could I add real rum? I think it might spoil the soap...
Help!
Thanks :)

Cant' help with where to get it, cause it depends where you live - I'm an Aussie and shipping can be a beach, if you know what I mean

Why not try a very small MP pour (1 individual mold worth) and add a small amount of the real thing just before pouring and blend in well? You want to keep your water/liquid based ratio to MP base, of 1 tablespoon per pound max proportionately, so perhaps 1/2 tsp of rum? See how it goes :D

Remember rum is an alcohol so add it as you would EOs - when the base is at its coolest but still pourable. HTH!

How about you pour one for yourself. A taste test is a must for the beginner. If you like it,make one more, just to make sure.

Then pour half the amount you used for yourself, for your soap.

Good luck :)

This is not actual advice... :)
