I'm messing around to find the perfect bubble bar recipe. These are my latest attempt in my newest silicone mould.

Making more bubble bars is on my to do list. My first batch, while pretty, too forever to harden. They also didn't bubble like I would have liked them to.yours look great!

That's my task this weekend. Making bubble bars and how I want to either mold or cut them. Haven't decided. have a couple different recipes. I like your roses.

I think these are too hard, they feel more sticky than crumbly and I'm still having lather issues too. I tried just the decyl glucoside and SCI together in my bath and the bubbles held lovely, but mix it up with all the other fillers like bicarb etc and it's back to square on with no bubble longevity. Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh.

Ooh very pretty!!

I have a long list of things to try, bubble bars being one - once I've perfected my CP

I'll have a look and see how they compare to mine shunt. I tweaked the one from Aussie bath supplies, it's fine, but that's not good enough, I want it to be spectacular!

I tried the BB recipe. The bars felt right, looked gorgeous. With bated breath I put them in the bath and wow bubbles. By the time I got into the bath the bubbles had disappeared! I can understand the aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!

Your bars do look gorgeous though. Good luck finding the right recipe.

Looking forward to hearing about it shunt. :)

All the bubble bar recipes seem to have the exact same problem Rowan! The commercial one's don't so there has to be a solution. I'm determined to find it!

Good luck finding a solution. I'll feedback if I find anything new.
