Beautiful! I have rose moulds to try out but no rose scent... and I think it will be a bit strange if I have a red rose with a different scent (like plumeria!)
But I love your pink colour. :)

SoapGrove: How much rose clay did you use to get that color? I have a sample sitting in my cupboard that I haven't messed with yet, and I think I just might if I knew how much to use. :) Beautiful soaps!

My mom hates rose scented soap (huh? *shrugs* ) so I made some red and pink roses and hearts scented with some samples I got from WSP and BB, a mix of cranberry chutney and lemon sugar cookie. It smells wonderful! Like some sort of berry shortcake or something. Yummy. It was very faint right after cutting, but has gotten stronger as it cures. And anyhow, real roses have some sweeter, some spicier, some more floral... Hmm. Now I'm thinking of rose ice cream....

I did make myself a HP batch of soap with geranium-rose EO. mmmm. All mine. (I'm greedy) It smelled sooooo good in my house. I can only imagine if I had rose absolute!!!

I probably put a little more than usual. I put a tablespoon per lb of oils. I have used this soap already and it is wonderful and gives a nice lather. Also, I used 1 ounce of rose absolute essential oil and it is not overpowering at all. I don't really like rose scent but this was very light. This was for 3 1/2 lbs batch that includes the lye and oils and water.
