Saw some Rooibos and Orange herbal tea, so had a plan..
discounted some of the water in the recipe and made a concentrated tea with a few of the bags, also emptied the bags into the tea.
Made the recipe as normal, at trace added back the water infusion and added a large cup of ground star anise and just a few drops of lavender..As you can see the pic is lush, the smell, the colour,,wow! Its an exfoliating bar. Its only just out of the mould and is still rather soft so will need a few weeks drying time. The bottom one is a sea kelp and geranium - i couldnt resist cutting into it altho it too needs some curing time.

The sea kelp still smells sea kelpish despite the geranium but you would not believe the star anise smell..oh m g, its sooo aniseedy..my fave flavour. almost edible.

I posted a picture of one of my soaps on facebook asking for friends to be testers and that was a mistake! One says she is going to have to hide it from her 3 year old because he will try to eat it :)

Don't you just love that YOU created this masterpiece? I can't get over that feeling! ;)

Very nice! I tried a rooibos and hibiscus tea in a batch once and really liked it but I used lavender herb FO. It's too bad the pretty red color turned brown. :-(

I found out the kelp scent does eventually fade but I don't remember how long it took. So, the geranium scent should eventually be the dominant scent.
