I saw this on a Facebook group I'm the member of. It's a reusable mold that you can melt and reuse up to 35 times. It's sold by Evil Cake Genius and used for molding chocolate. Think this would be okay for soap?

What do you think?

Hi Julie! This is amazing!. I looked online and found a website called composimold.com. According to their site, it can be used for soap, but it doesn't say CP. It doesn't NOT say that, but it looks to be same stuff in the youtube only with a private label. I'd contact her to check. However, this is genius stuff! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Julie. I read more on this, and I'm pretty sure my hunch was right. It can be used for MP. CP? Not so sure. Check out that site, and click on soap. Pretty sure it's the same stuff used above.

Here's the link to the website you were talking about Cactuslily. It shows you need to freeze the mold before using it and melt your soap - so I'm sure you are probably right.

My thought is if you are soaping CP at room temperature (low temp), you freeze the mold, and you put it immediately in the freezer so you avoid gel, maybe it would work. But...that's my 2-cents after only making 1 soap batch :)

Because this has to be heated to melt. It will probably melt with soap making in CP or HP because it gets too hot when gelling.

Yes, but if you can prevent gel by putting it in the freezer, I wonder if it would work.
