Reiryo Koh incense -- suggestions for adapting the fragrance to soap?

I was intrigued last night by my first encounter with a Japanese incense called Reiryo Koh. According to the info I found today, it contains Sandalwood, Clove, Foenun Graecum (fenugreek), Patchouli, Tarmelic/Turmetic (I don't have a clue what this is!), and Borneol Camphor

It is pungent to the point of being overwhelming in a small room, but lovely in a larger space. I find myself musing what it would be like in soap. Not sure about the clove part, since I know clove accelerates trace. And I know real sandalwood is priced out of my soap making pocketbook -- but a sandalwood FO might do.

For those of you who like the heavier resiny, woody, spicy scents like this incense ... any suggestions for an FO that might be similar? Or am I looking at blending my own scent?

This sounds like something you would probably need to blend, but you would probably only need a touch of clove, so maybe finding a sandalwood/patch FO blend and adding a few drops of clove. It seems that Tarmelic is in the Curcuma family, and the flower looks like a ginger flower to me. https://www.flickr.com/photos/bluehazyjunem/6219456255
And I am wondering if the 'turmetic' should be 'turmeric' which is also in the Curcuma family

I believe Tarmelic/Turmetic is the same thing or close to the same thing as tumeric.

Gosh, guys, thanks for your suggestions. I'd given up on the thread ... I know it's pretty esoteric. I still like the scent a lot and will follow up on your ideas!

I might start with a blend of sandalwood FO, patch, and a touch of clove. Being swirl challenged, I will find it easy to keep the recipe and design scheme fairly simple, what with the clove.

I've never heard of Reiryo Koh scent but it sounds very intriguing. I love those types of scents - patchouli, nag champa, sandalwood, etc - so this sounds like it's right up my alley. If you find something similar please share as I'd love to give it go! I wonder if you could PM some of our SMF members from that part of the globe for suggestions? Also, what about Mike's Fragrances? I know he makes special request blends and dupes. Maybe Mike has some ideas on it.
