I have an idea in my head...something that would mean that i would have to be able to pour my soap into a mold, then be able to let it harden, do another couple of things, and then have more, pourable CP soap left after the first part had hardened.

So, how would one go about this? Can you re-heat, re-melt the CP soap to make it pourable again? Or would you just have to use another batch?

for CP you would have to make another batch, for MP you can melt some do stuff to it, then pour more over later.

Yes, and it's called rebatching.

Which may create confusion with the other method of rebatching which involves creating a new batch and somehow incorporate the old batch into it.

rebatch means REbatch. Incorporating the old batch into a new one is a twist on rebatching, but not really rebatching in and of itself.

No, you can't really just melt down CP soap - unfortunately it never becomes liquid again. All we have is rebatching (heating until it's kinda fluid).

Thanks everyone for your help! Definitely answered my question, but now I have another one. lol. Time for another thread :)
