REF#?

I’m getting ready to start soaping. I came across a log sheet that asked for a REF#. What is it asking for?

I agree, without seeing the log sheet, we can only guess at what you might be seeing.

If I were to take a wild guess, usually a reference number will be your own batch number, from your own numbering system that you have created to keep track of your soapmaking. If you don't use a batch numbering system, you can ignore that field.

Another possibility that occurred to me, if the form is coded in HTML, is it's a broken bit of code called an "anchor." This is code that allows the reader to jump from one part of a particular webpage to another spot on the same webpage.

What is it asking for?

If it's a log sheet template that you plan on using, It might be asking for a code number for the batch, i.e., my batch numbers always appear on the printout sheet and on the label as the date of manufacture -- 092822

Ah, from looking at your post in July, it seems that you mean some sort of method to catalogue your soaping progress. Sounds like it's a spreadsheet with a missing or invalid value in one field which is causing the issue
