Hi
For some time now, I'm having real trubbles with my nails. I tend to keep them short because of the soap making of course, but they are so brittle they tear right into the flesh of my fingers and toes. Whitch causes bleeding and infections. I'm getting really upset with this right now and like to know if any of you know something (oils, essential oils or anything else) to ease my problem a little bit... :(

Lime essential oil, and rosehip carrier oil is said to help brittle nails (I have never used it for that myself though)

Maybe you could try a little rosehip with some lime mixed in and brush on your nails for a week or so and see how it works.

Let me know too!

 I've got both nutritional and multiple medical problems; my bowels were not doing there job well for some time, but last weekend I had to go to hospital, where the doctor found out they practically stopped working; so I can hardley eat anything at the moment. It'll be looked at and adressed as soon as possible
But in the main time my fingers are really hurting so I wanted to try out some stuff the ease it a little bit...
Jewel, thanks for the tips, sadly I don't have any of that on hand right now, so I'm going to have to order some and give it a try :)
