When I first started soaping I bought a cucumber melon FO on the suggestions of a friend. I made a TON of it. However no one, including myself likes this FO. Most soap that is not so popular eventually sells, however this one is not moving at ALL! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for re-batching. I really have not done much re-batching, however this is A LOT of soap to just waste. I would love some suggestions on what I could add to it to compliment it so that customers may like it.

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

I'm glad I'm not the only one hating FOs with cucumber and melon :)
As PP said, something herby or minty might do the trick. BB wasabi is very nice, it might work.
I'm not telling you to, but I just threw mine out, that's how sick of that FO I was.

Out of curiosity, which vendor did you get your cucumber melon FO from? I am in love with the one I got from Nature's Garden.

I would try something herbal to tone down the sweetness. You might consider a hint of rosemary or basil EO. Mint also would be nice, as has been mentioned already.

And while I am a patch lover, I think the combo would be terrible. I'm thinking, maybe, that suggestion was in jest?

I love cucumber melon! My fave is the one from SweetCakes. I agree with the suggestions of using mint. And strangely enough, it also pairs nicely with lilac (at least to my nose anyway).

IrishLass :)
