Transparent soap made with Everclear does not remelt well for me. Translucent soap made with propylene glycol does remelt well, but lacks the transparency of other melt & pour bases.

From what I've read, you can use either. Something to keep in mind if your going to be using scraps is they also need to have a 0% superfat. I don't have any scraps like that so I'll probably be making a fresh batch.

That matches everything I have read, and the higher the CO % the more transparent. But the 2 batches I have tried did not come out very transparent. the one with the higher CO content is more transparent than the other, but not very. I used the propylene glycol in both batches. It was very easy to make and remelts very very nicely. I find the glycerin does not do enough to combat the high CO, it was too drying for me. And they both seem to disappear out of the shower very quickly - washes away much faster than my gelled CP.

I'm not expecting mine to be totally see thru. Honestly I just think it's gonna be cool to try. I was thinking CO OO combo....
the 0% Sf is b/c if there is 'free' oils in the soap it will be cloudy-er
