hi. I tried to search for rebatching methods, but the search feature on this otherwise excellent forum leaves much to be desired. Anywho, I've got a huge pile of little soap chips sitting around, and i'm thinking i'd hate to waste all of those materials. so, the way i see it, maybe i can put those itty bitty chips into my next batch?
I'm not looking to make flawless soap yet. I'm still buried deep within the learning process. I just wanna conerve stuff. So, what do i do, exaclty? My impression, from the stuff i have read, is that i need to make a new batch, and add the tiny wasted chunks to the batch at some point. at what point? Do i add any extra lye and/or water for the old stuff, or do i just calc out a new batch, and put the old chunks in at some point during the process?
As you've probably gathered, i'm 98% clueless, so any help would be super-appreciated
