Well done! I tried making a lemon meringue looking soap in a bar shape. I had it the perfect colors of lemony yellow and pure white whipped top. But as soap would have it...it always throws you for a loop when while it was curing it started to turn a beigey color from the Lemon Cake FO I used. oh well, live and learn! It smells soooo good though. Now it looks like smoked gouda lol! Here is a pic...

Nothing wrong with gouda. :)

I wonder if vanilla stabilizer or TD would help prevent the color turnings on some of this stuff?

funny thing is, I did add TD lol! This was actually my first batch of my latest soap capade and it was before I realized that my TD was water soluable. I couldnt figure out why I kept getting those effen white specks in my soap! All the friends have been so wonderful here, i learned from this forum that there were different kinds of TD, i ordered mine a long time ago and it wasnt labled as to which kind it was so i just always mixed it with oil and stick blended it in the best I could before it got too thick. Now thanks to you guys, I know to mix it with water and it blends like a dream!! No more specks! I only wish I knew it was that easy while making my first 9 batches of this last run. I've never used vanilla stabilizer. honestly it didnt even occur to me that there was vanilla in mu FO but now it seems like a no brainer!
