Anybody going (or already gone) to quilt market in Houston? I just got back from the vendor fair part...I think the general public part is next weekend. It was pretty cool...super inspiring. Ty Pennington (sp?) was there! I took a pic of him...I'll post it on Monday. It was a blast.
 
Owww... the quilt fair in houston used to b one of my all time goals.
Glad u had a good time.
I don't quilt alot anymore. Other hobbies seem to have taken over.
Here in Australia we don't get a fair quiet as big as yours. They do state fairs with approx 100-200 booths & thats it.
I use to exhibit at them when I had a stitchery/embroidery business & always had a terrific time. Then kids came, sold the business & here I am making soap..... & today syndet poo bars actually :lol: :lol:
 
I went in 1999. Awesome show, and the vendors - it tooks us the full three days to see it all. I don't know how people can take classes and see everything. I quilted regularly for 20 years and have been to lots of quilt shows. The Houston show and the Paducah shows are the cream of the crop.
