So in the past I was using the walmart brand tallow and veggie mix shortening. According to soapcalc, the sap is 0.141.
Recently I ordered a large amount of tallow, veggie mix shortening from soapers choice. Soapers choice list the sap of this as 0.136
I noticed on soapcalc that soybean oil, also has a sap of 0.136
So while I will be using the soapers choice tallow and veggie shortning, as far as using soapcalc is concerned should I jut plug in soybean oil when figuring out recipes so I know the sap will be correct?
Thanks all
