I have a fo I just soaped with. It is supposed to turn very dark brown, but as of right now, it's a medium mauve. Granted I used some rose clay, but the pic of this fo on bb are very deep brown. Do fo's with a lot of vanilla continue to darken over time, or is this about the darkest it's going to get? I poured about an hr ago. Thx!

It takes time. Expect it to darken more and more over the next few weeks. Also- don't be surprised if you cut into it sometime later and find that the inside is much lighter than the outside. Once it hits the oxygen in the air, the exposed inside will darken, too.

IrishLass :)

Thx. I used relaxing by bb, and it is about half as dark as I was hoping.... and currently half as dark as the pic on their site shows. Fingers crossed it darkens more because otherwise I'm left with a blah brown with purple and white.
I knew it would discolor and hoped for a really dark deep color like their pic shows.
