If a glass bottle for 2 ounces of scent weighs a certain amount of grams empty and you get more scents, same size, shouldn't you come out with 57 grams on each one after you deduct the weight of the bottle? I'm coming up with crazy amounts. Like 1 bottle has 68 grams of scent in it. One of them comes up short, only 55 grams. The amber bottls are all alike, too. This company sells by weight not fluid ounces. I happened to notice this when trying to pour enough scent for just a 1 pound batch. It just looked like there wasn't 28 grams left over for the next time.

Oikay, I can see how even amber bottles may vary by several grams. I think I might have gotten lucky with the one that weights more though, which is good. :)

Frustrating, non? Some DO short bottles quite frequently, and if you feel you were shorted you should tell the company. Being a gram or two short is significant if you are using an ounce at a time.

Amber bottles should not vary more than a gram, so I hope you are right and got extra of one!

My scale will sometimes fluctuate by a gram or two and I'm wondering if all electronic scales do that. I swear I can weigh this one measuring cup and it's 79 grams and then an hour later it says 80. Is it atmospheric or barmoetric pressure or something? I do think I got less of one than 57 grams but at least it is a strong scent. With WSP they go by fluid oz and so that might work in a soaper's favor here and there. Symphony Scents doews iit that way too, I noticed.

No it won't work to the soaper's favor as we work by weights. For all components.
