Prom tonight

I'm chaperoning the prom tonight. This should be interesting. Anyways, it is always fun to get dressed up and get your hair done. Wish me luck...

That is something I have never volunteered to do! And I have taken kids on field trips across state lines. Good on you! Hope the kids behave and have fun. I hope you have fun, too!

Thanks for the well wishes. I did it a few years back and it was crazy. However, prom counts for 2 adjunct duties so I guess it is worth it.

Prom was a little crazy, definitely not for the faint of heart. The kids get really nasty on the dance floor. It was fun to see all of the kids dressed up though. I took a lot of pictures with my students and no one fought so overall it was a pretty good night.

I teach students with learning disabilities so we have our students for all 4 years. This years seniors are the first freshmen group I had when I started working at this school so the night was a little sentimental for me.
