Hand cut soap- close to the same size, but they range from 3.6oz to 4.2 oz.
I could call them all 3.5 ounces+, and put the same price on all, but the large
ones will all go first.

So, I was thinking, "why not price them by the ounce?"

Say, $1.00/oz. That way, people who wanted to spend less could choose
a smaller one, and those that want a large bar could spend more.

The ultimate purchase will be a log cutter- but haven't made that one yet.

What do you all do?

I like the per oz. idea too, since that is really how we figure the cost of making the soap in the first place, right?
I can see how it would work easily at a craft fair, you could either weigh and individually mark each bar when you package it, or if you have naked bars you could just take a scale and do a total weight of whatever soaps being purchased and charge that way.
But what if you were posting on Etsy or somewhere like that? Would you need to have a separate listing for each bar of soap so you could put the exact price of each one according to it's weight?
What if you're selling on your own website. Instead of having a separate listing for each KIND of soap, you'd almost need a separate listing of each BAR of soap since there might be considerable variation in weight from bar to bar if you are hand cutting without some kind of accurate guide.
