Prefer to Make Hair Products

Hello. I'm Rebecca. I have not made any soap yet, but am hoping to do some experimenting with soap making soon. I usually make natural shampoo and conditioner.

I am looking for some exotic scents for my products. I like Lavender, Tangerine, Patchouli, Japanese and European Honeysuckle, Hawaiian Frangipani, Vanilla, and Sandalwood. I want to try Pikake, Osmanthus and Passionflower.

If anyone knows of a fragrance store that is phthalate free and has fragrances that consistently smell like they are supposed to and do not seize, please let me know. I am still looking.

Someday, I want to try making a moisturizing soap with murumuru butter argan oil and Aloe. And, I might try making an acne soap for my son. However, I will probably start out with something more basic for practice.

Hello and welcome. Unfortunately there is not just one supplier. Most of us have multiple suppliers for our FO's/EO's. They vary from one supplier to another. I've tried fragrances from different companies and found the one's I like best. Some of the suppliers are listed in this post:

Hi Rebecca & welcome! If you're considering an acne soap for your son, pine tar soap might be something to look into. Many people love it. Here's one of the many threads on the topic:
