Pre-mixed bath bomb base vs Mix it yourself

I made my first bath bombs by mixing the citric acid and bicarbonate soda myself. They worked and I want to make more. This site caught my eye: http://soaposh.co.uk/store/WsDefault.asp?One=504

and I was thinking about getting the bath bomb base with added cocoa butter.

Has anyone tried such a thing? do you prefer to mix it yourself knowing exactly how much of what is going into it or is this stuff better?

I have only tried them once mixing it myself, the cocoa butter sounds nice though.I need to look at that link

wow, interesting results. I'd like to read some success stories from using a pre mixed base. It might make it seem more appealing.

What is the diff in price if you mix it or if you buy a base?

I think it all depends on where you buy the bicarbonate of soda and citric acid from I think since some places sell them cheaper than others.
