Let's all bring out our favorite dirty soaping secret...our biggest fails! Show a pic of one of your favorite messes. Don't be shy...I know we've all done it! Plus, it makes the newbies feel better to see that even the masters can have fails, too!

Here's the story of my rebatch adventure...

I made a wine and milk soap the other day. Tried to make the color look more wine-like by mixing a red with a purple. This purple has given me trouble in the past, but fixed itself after a few days, so I thought it was worth a shot. When I unmolded it, I found that the purple had all migrated onto 3 bars and it looked like crap.

Rebatched it with more milk and found that airbubbles has ruined my cute little goat kid molds. It was like each kid had no nose. Didn't look awful though...just not perfect.

I thought today, "What the heck?" and did a second rebatching. Added more milk and let it melt. This time I thought to try to darken the color a bit since it got lighter with each melt. Added some burgundy and hoped for the best. Well, here's what it looks like now....

I have no clue where the green color came from. In person it looks almost like a dark and milk chocolate swirl with light green layers. I will never, ever be able to make it again...and not sure I'll want to!

Is it sad that I kind of like it? :)

I was making a Lavender Mint Seaweed soap. I tried to get a purplish color by mixing blue & red. Well... the red seperated and made the soap pink. The real bummer was that it was an EO used.

What cinta said 'good looking disasters'.
I had one batch that was colored purple but ended up turning a nasty green in the center of it, don't have any pics of it though.

I don't think your disaster looks bad! Kinda looks like you added dark flecks of something cool....like some kind of mud or something.

Come on, gals, I know we have more!

I had 4 out of 5 batches go wrong the other day :( Felt so defeated...This is one of them, the bottom was all squishy when it came out the mold. It was supposed to be black and copper instead it's green and red :(

I rebatched the others so they're not so much disaster now, this one I don't know what to do with though. Bf says he likes it but I want to rebatch :p

Oh WOW... I really like the colors, I think it looks cool.

No can do. I have a very strict policy of not posting photos of my children online  .

Okay so I took a picture of my horrendous honey oatmeal soap that I over-insulated and it cracked the lense of my camera.
Sorry not to be able to post a pic.
