I recently ordered pomace olive oil on accident... what is the difference & can I use it for lotion bars & soap?

It is a grade of olive oil, I think it goes like this -

Extra Virgin
Virgin
Grade A
Grade B
Pomace

I am not sure if Grade B and Pomace are the same, they could be. Someone who has used it should be able to tell you more about it. I can't see why you couldn't use it in other products.

yes, you can use it for both. Pomace s the very last pressing of the olives and pits and extracted using hexane. It is higher in unsaponifiables and is not as slow to trace as extra virgin

I use pomace for soap, pure olive oil for sauteeing and to make all i oli, and extra virgin for salads. I would never use extra virgin for soap, that is for my salads!
