Another recipe with olive oil as basic ingredient.
It has a scrubby texture for the body and works gently.

* 70% Olive oil
* 20% Corn oil
* 10% Coconut oil
* Water discounted about 15%

In this batch I added a 1tbsp for 500gr of fats of polenta, 1tbsp of corn starch, 2 tbsp of peppermint eo.

Suggestions and comments more than welcome!

Cheers!

Looks great!

With that much OO, you can probably take a slightly steeper water discount.

Also corn oil is not a great soaping oil from what I understand. OK in the short term but prone to rancidity in the long term. If you're doing mostly OO soaps, you're probably in for a good long cure and the corn oil could contribute to DOS.

See the following for more details:

Thank you!
Corn oil is very prone to be rancid. But the high amount of olive oil and coconut oil take on the safe side. true, I could use more discount on water, this is my average water discount.
also the storage is very important for soaps: never use plastic but fresh and airy environment helps.

Cheers
