I've watched her videos she does really have some skills . I'm probably in the minority here with this statement, but for me, I have no interest in design soap. I don't sell my soap and the soap I give away I want people to use not collect dust. I guess I'm more into the utility end of soap making. I only have a limited amount of creativity so I'll save that for my quilts.

I am not a big seller either, but I do love to experiment and those decorative soaps make great gifts (if they turn out the way they are suppose to).

That was weird, but good. How would someone even come up with that design? She speaks a little slowly for my tastes but the video was cool.

Wow, those are some crazy mad soap skills. I can see both points on having soap that is utility based compared to the more designer styles. I personally like both, and think that they both have a place. Even if I did not use the designer soaps or particularly want them, I can still appreciate the skill that goes into the creative process of making them. I love color and scents in my soaps, so that is what I use. I plan to also make more basic soaps for people who prefer them as well, and I am not sure if I will ever get as creative as this particular soap, but I do appreciate the skill.

That is amazon and this weeks challenge. She left the "assignment" up for two weeks. The Facebook group is already posting results with amazing outcomes too!

I enjoy watching her and I saw that one (I'm subscribed to her channel). It is really cool. I love trying to make pretty soaps so this is on my must try list. I do admit that I have seen her state information that I don't agree with, but that is coming down to opinions so nothing to complain about.

Omg that is amazing!!! I love soaping101 but haven't watched any of her videos in a while. My favorite has been her "Heavenly Soap" and I have been able to recreate it pretty well. This pointillism thing is so cool! I love challenging the inner artist I didn't even know existed. Can't wait to try this one.

OOO Pepsi Girl, I love quilts! I would love to see pics in the "other crafts" postings!

I haven't thought about creating with pointillism, its a lot of work.

I saw the video too. Very creative. I'm thinking about trying it, but not sure. maybe if I find a photo or painting to copy ;)

I loved this video, her talent never ends!

As a new soap maker of only a few months her videos are of endless help and inspiration. (Especially since I started watching some that were questionable and did not have proper safety gear, etc...) Since I am really just making soap for myself, and found it is fun, I guess I have decided I should perhaps turn the focus to soap art. There are many other videos of soap art once you know about it and start looking, one even makes a soap frame for the soap art!

There should be a soap art museum, or is there one already?

Her video on this inspired my golf course soap. See the sand, the earth (cocoa powder), the green, the sky and the "rough" on top?

I'm seeing a sand pit and lake in there too. Good job!

I love that everyone's soaps here are so beautiful and creative. Very inspiring.
