Please help with my soap recipe (beginner)

I am new to soap making and am a little confused as to how to go about doing this.

I have the following ingredients:

organic extra virgin olive oil
organic coconut oil
i can obtain lye very easily from the lab where i go to college

I am aware that there is a lot of variability between lye calculators and the consistency of the soap they produce.

what percentages and amounts should i use of these ingredients?

Should i buy any other ingredients for this project?

Hello & Welcome...

With the ingredients you have you can make a really nice unscented bastille:

Olive Oil 75%
Coconut Oil 25%
Lye Discount 5%

This soap is very gentle and mositurizing....Make sure you show us pictures....

lindy what is lye discount is that just the amount of lye? sorry if dumb ?
