As Christmas gifts this year I made a spicy pepper mustard, it's bright yellow with festive green and red specks in it, packaged in fancy little jelly jars. But after 8 years of saying "don't eat the soap" no one wants to taste it.
Makes me wonder how many of those same people in previous years licked their soap or stuck their finger in the scrub when no one was looking to see if it really was just a yummy smelling soap product. I hope no one tries to wash their bum with it.

Imagine the warning labels you make!

I've never had handmade mustard, care to post the recipe? Sounds really interesting.

The recipe is very easy to adapt to your own personal taste. Please keep in mind that I make large quantities at a time so you may want to scale back your recipe.
15-30 various peppers (this is where you custom to your liking, mild to inferno)
48 oz mustard
1 qt vinegar
5 C sugar
1 tbs salt
1 3/4 C corn starch

Grind up peppers in food processor (no need to seed them, just throw them in)
bring peppers, mustard, vinegar, sugar and salt to a boil
add corn starch (dissolved in water first) until thickened.

Let me know how it turns out.
