Playing With Salt Bars

I love salt bars! :smile: This soap is scented with Sweet Cake's Snow place like home FO. I used 8 different colors of mica to swirl with.

That is a great colorful swirl salt bar. In my mind I had a soap planned out that was going to look somewhat like this one. In reality, it came out muddled and no where near as beautiful as yours.:smile: Nice job.

Fata those are beautiful! I made my first batch a week ago and I'm on the fence about them. I used full water, 38% with 50% dendritic salt and used kaolin clay and rose clay for colors. It was a moderate trace before I even started pouring. Do you use extra water to have the time to use all of those colors?

Sorry Cindy I missed your question. For my salt bars I use 33% lye solution (about 1:2 ratio of lye to water), it gives me enough time to play with colors/swirls.
